Weaponry of Aleen-gha

A magical sword.

Below is a list of all weapons of note that show up in one form or another throughout the campaigns of Aleen-gha. These weapons may have been wielded by the heroes themselves or perhaps by villains or historical and legendary figures.

Akaid[edit]

This ranseur is the favored weapon of the archdevil Egon. Its black hilt is inlaid with minute rubies in a spiraling pattern. It acts as both Egon's primary weapon and his holy symbol for the purpose of casting divine spells, the power of which stems directly from his masters Belial and Fierna.

SH 671, February 2nd: After being stripped of his devil armor and Akaid, Halcyon grabbed for it when Egon had attempted to destroy him and his companions. In a desperate struggle, Halcyon managed to slay Egon with Akaid, despite the fact that Belial himself is channeling his powerful emotion through the weapon. Akaid is now in Halcyon's possession. SH 671, February 28th: After being sucked into the cursed realm of Barratu, the half-orc barbarian Elizagerth snatched up the ranseur. Elizagerth's heedless ignorance of the power behind Akaid may get him into serious trouble... (read more at Episode 3: "The Curse of Barratu")

Alriyah[edit]

Betina[edit]

Crafted by the dwarven paladins of Alfan, this maul was designed for holy warriors whose goal it was to smite down enemies that had done them or their people wrong. So much magical energy was put into the maul, however, that it was found to inadvertently cause the wielder to fly into a frenzy whenever he or she would be attacked by an enemy.

SH 671, January 22nd: The maul was gifted by the monk known as Brother Zeio to Poppy, just before he was attacked by Poppy and her allies. The maul itself has been given the endearing name of Betina by Poppy.

Black Needle[edit]

This uncommon assassin's weapon was found on the black market and is designed to quickly poison any person unfortunate enough to find himself on the receiving end. It is in the possession of Kamenos.

Break-Maker[edit]

Mace belonging to Yera Bashfulson. The rest TBD.

Covetous Rake[edit]

This dagger was made from the talon of a black dragon and it grows warm with within 120 feet of any dragon. It allows its bearer to speak Nrukianak and also causes the bearer to become overwhelmingly obsesses with material wealth.

SH 670, December 6th: Lilhani purchases this item from a merchant in Namara.

Giant's Hair Crossbow[edit]

Of dwarvish creation, this crossbow was made out of the hair of stone giants that had once waged war on the dwarves of Bandle City. The crossbow whispers warnings to its bearer, allowing him or her to be more alert when combat occurs. Bolts loosed from this weapon also strike harder against giants of all kinds.

SH 670, December 6th: Lilhani purchases this item from a merchant in Namara.

Glaive of Light[edit]

When activated, this magical glaive emanates a holy glow. It was given to Balasar the Righteous for her service to the syndicate of the Vengeful Sun.

Goldenheart[edit]

The longsword in possession of the warrior Andras. This weapon was issued to him by the Nack Army when he became part of a small, elite force. Each weapon given to individuals in this task force is both unique and is given a name.

SH 671, January 12th: Andras discovers that he can infuse the magic from any other weapon into Goldenheart. Goldenheart is now a vicious weapon.

Gromthor[edit]

The heirloom of the Ironbreaker Clan, this ancient dwarven warhammer was once held by the great founding dwarf known as Orbin Ironbreaker circa. AB 2000. Passed on through the generations, it made its way into the skilled hands of Felix Ironbreaker, who had Oraka, the local gem smith at Strongheim, encrust several rubies into it, making Felix a veritable "Stonelord" on TH 1597, May 29.

Jamra[edit]

scimitar (fill in when you get the card back)

Meteor Hammer[edit]

The two-headed flail wielded by the god of the sky, Ulsted. The two heads of the flail and Ulsted himself make up the Sky Trichotomy; one flail head represents the god of the sun, Harsted, while the other represents the moon goddess Runsted. While likenesses of the Meteor Hammer can be found on statues of Ulsted throughout the Forever Forest and before that in Sky Churches throughout the realms of both Meteoro and Nack, the actual existence of such a weapon is merely legend.

Skystone Hammer[edit]

This massive warhammer is the physical embodiment of the awesome and divine power of the dwarven creator-god Alfan Skystone. Legend has it that only a dwarven king (or queen) is capable of wielding this weapon, and that it has been used in ancient battles and has slain the greatest and mightiest of foes in eons past. This myth has remained such, though, as any record of it is only found in the writings of the holy Kronkaas and no one alive has witnessed its existence.

SH 671, March 20th: King Gron Alfansire, with the help of his aunt Margrun, performed a ritual near the Skystone which caused the Skystone Hammer to manifest within King Gron's hands, proving his royal legitimacy. (read more on Episode 9: "The Rightful King")

Sunlight's Edge[edit]

This shortsword was gifted to Kamenos for his service in the syndicate of the Vengeful Sun. It's edge is said to pierce into the hearts of the vilest of undead creatures.

Tooth of Locqwerthalyn[edit]

Although it is in fact much too small to really be an entire tooth of the Dragon Goddess Locqwerthalyn, this massive warpick still carries within it the divine fire of First Dragon. With each strike, the wielder has a chance to deliver extra radiant and fire damage to the unlucky target. This legendary weapon was given to Ineffable as an instrument to help him in his goal of awakening the Winged Goddess.

Whomper[edit]

A family heirloom for Poppy, this simple but sturdy warhammer was created by her father, Blomgrun.

SH 670, December 11th: After Poppy draws the Ruin card from the Deck of Many Things all of her earthly possessions are lost to oblivion, including her precious family heirloom, Whomper.
