Non-Player Characters of the Blessed United Front Duo Wars

Mesmer, the black cat familiar belonging to the tiefling wizard Trance.

Below is a list of the relevant NPCs within the Blessed United Front Duo Wars campaign. Please note than all spoiler buttons are meant to hide information about the NPC that the PCs should not yet know.

Black Mamba[edit]

(Female Human) This dark-skinned woman is the Potions Master of Boar Herpes Academy and is known for her potent potions of inebriation and her feisty temper.

SH 1997, March 18th: Trance and Xamarin manage to distract the Black Mamba long enough for Xamy to sneak into her potion storage area and steal a six-pack of inebriation potions. (read more on Episode 3: “Botany Brawlers”)

Cady Heronas[edit]

(Female Human) This Magpie Paw student is the redheaded leader of a small clique within House Magpie Paw that often passes the time in the quad. She's super mean!

SH 1997, March 18th: After a seemingly innocuous altercation with the new recruits, Cady managed to get written up on Trance's secret black list for being unnecessarily rude. (read more on Trance's Chronicle, March 18)

Canday Lambra[edit]

(Female Human) Canday is a student of Minerology and Planar Herbology student at Boar Herpes Academy.

SH 1997, March 20th: Canday, along with her companions Lampa and Karnor met up with the adventurers in the Altha-Feor#Capilliary Canyon. Later that day, she was crushed by a sudden explosion within a small cave. (now dead) (read more on Episode 7: “Halo Invasion”)

Carrisli Sunshield[edit]

(Female Dwarf) A skilled glassblower in the service of Boar Herpes Academy, Carrisli and her husband Thenatin were killed in the initial Rifter waves of SH 1987. She is also the mother of Lumynae.

Chytysha[edit]

(Female Human) An M-Class soldier within House Hissing Out.

Cotton Mouth[edit]

(Male Dwarf) This consistently out-of-it dwarf with a massive pompadour hairdo enjoys smoking, lute playing, and happens to be the Silk Master of Boar Herpes Academy.

SH 1997, March 18th: In exchange for a six-pack of Black Mamba's famous inebriation potions, Cotton Mouth gave Xamarin a bag of holding. (read more on Episode 3: “Botany Brawlers”)

Deafaenia[edit]

(Female Human) A Lieutenant within House Hissing Out, Deafaenia is close friends with Momo.

Frama Lambra[edit]

(Female Human) This seductive individual surprisingly has no relation to Canday or Lampa. She is a member of the Rifter Cult.

SH 1997, March 20th: Trance and Ellywick use a charm spell on Frama in Halo and discover she is part of a much larger terrorist attack upon the town. She is then left to her own devices as the adventurers struggle to contain the attack. (read more on Episode 7: “Halo Invasion”)

Gorin[edit]

(Male Human) The Master of the Enchanting Arts at Boar Herpes Academy, Gorin enjoys manipulating his students in playful ways until they can see through his enchantments.

SH 1976: On a stormy night, Gorin discovered an abandoned tiefling infant on the front steps of Boar Herpes. He took in the tiefling and adopted him as his own, implanting upon him his own love for the School of Enchantment and knowledge as a whole. When the tiefling came of age, he named himself Trance.

Igna Mellor[edit]

(Female Human) Also called "Igma." This mysterious wizard is the headmaster of House Wolverine Fluff. Few non-initiates ever get the chance to meet her in person, but every new apprentice who chooses to enter into the "Wuff" family gets a brief introductory meeting with her.

SH 1997, March 15th: Seven new students met with Headmaster Mellor when they passed their final exam in the Danger Room and subsequently chose to join House Wolverine Fluff. (read more on Episode 1: “Blessed Graduation”)

Inone Drenzheit[edit]

(Female Human) The Imperator of House Wolverine Fluff. Not much is known about this powerful woman.

Jaron[edit]

(Male Wood-Elf) Jaron, despite his aged look and furled brow, is a renowned martial artist and is widely considered one of the best unarmed soldiers in the southern Beoric Mountains region. He has been the leader of the Monastery of Unyielding Stone for a handful of centuries leading up to roughly SH 2000.

c. SH 1800: Jaron was introduced to another wood elf named Quarreth whom he taught the Way of the Open Hand. The stoic nature of Jaron and the rest of the Monastery of Unyielding Stone eventually chipped away at Quarreth's prankster personality so much so that the student left to join the war and enlist at Boar Herpes Academy.

Kuuro[edit]

(unknown) Also known as "Kuuro the Black," this mysterious figure keeps ominously showing up after the Wuffs finish fighting some important battle. He is always seen in the distance with his companion Sheero. Kuuro is said to be a member of the Raining Sorrows and was once a member of Zero Squad.

Lampa Lambra[edit]

(Male Human) Lampa is a student of Minerology and Planar Herbology student at Boar Herpes Academy.

Madyla Beech[edit]

(Female Half-Elf) Madyla is a Major Beech! She is a no-nonsense militaristic leader in service of Boar Herpes Academy and is commanding the front of any nearby Rifter skirmish.

Mesmer[edit]

(Female Cat, Familiar) An ages-old black cat with a fiendish personality, she acts as the primary familiar for Trance, a young arcane student at Boar Herpes Academy. Despite her oft-wicked demeanor, she can be a real joy to be around. If she likes you, she will purr at your touch and will willingly snuggle with you. However, beware her touch, since her master Trance can easily deliver a shocking grasp through her that will send you reeling!

Momo[edit]

(Female Human) Momo is the proctor of the particular exam involving the adventurers and their subsequent squad captain. Despite her childish nature, she is very informative and acts as a guide to the heroes. And despite her rank as captain, she is rarely involved in any actual combat, but rather service as an information specialist for the S-Class and M-Class Regalia.

Peridosa[edit]

(Female Wood Elf) This paladin is the commander of a healing unit belonging to House Wolverine Fluff. Her distinct half-blonde, half-brunette hair allows her to stand out in a crowd.

Petra[edit]

(Female Human) Petra is the Major of the castle at Stemdiboar and the commander of its garrison.

Rebor[edit]

(Male Dwarf) Rebor is a dwarven ore merchant who travels with a companion, Tarn to and from towns and villages surrounding Beorishtel.

SH 1997, March 15th: Both Rebor and Tarn ran into the group of adventurers at night on the road between Beorishtel and Boar Herpes Academy when the tiefling Trance cast a charm person spell on both him and his companion and subsequently asked them both to drop some money into his locker back at Boar Herpes. (read more on Episode 1: “Blessed Graduation”)

Rustra[edit]

(Female Human) A captain of House Hissing Out, Rustra specializes in stealth and infiltration and is often recruited by other squads for her expertise in this field.

SH 1997, March 17th: Rustra is recruited by Momo to assist her fledgling squad in infiltrating the fortress at nearby Stemdiboar and destroy the rift in the area. (read more on Episode 2: “Infiltrate the Abyss”)

Sheero[edit]

(unknown) Also known as "Sheero the White," this mysterious figure keeps ominously showing up after the Wuffs finish fighting some important battle. He is always seen in the distance with his companion Kuuro. Sheero is said to be a member of the Raining Sorrows and was once a member of Zero Squad.

Tarn[edit]

(Male Dwarf) The young companion of Rebor, Tarn accompanies Rebor in several trips to and from Beorishtel and other nearby towns and villages, including Boar Herpes Academy.

SH 1997, March 15th: Tarn and Rebor ran into a group of adventurers at night on the road between Boar Herpes and Beorishtel. The tiefling Trance subsequently cast charm person on both him and Rebor and asked them to place money into his locker at Boar Herpes. This won't likely happen as the spell only lasts for an hour... (Male Dwarf) A skilled glassblower in the service of Boar Herpes Academy, Thenatin and his wife Carrisli were killed in the initial Rifter waves of SH 1987. He is also the father of Lumynae.

Vhana[edit]

(Unisex Seedling) This large seedling is the magical and natural offspring of the great tree at Caldora. Each seedling is roughly the size of a cantaloupe and has a face and mouth of its own, enabling it to speak an express emotion. Vhana is a particularly whiny seedling and is deeply and emotionally linked to the wellbeing of the tree and the surrounding forest near Caldora.

SH 1997, March 19: After a massive Rifter corruption of the forest surrounding Caldora, Vhana learned that he was the last remaining uncorrupted seedling of the great Tree. He cried for days upon learning this news. (read more on Episode 5: “Corruption Within the Canopy”)

Viviosa[edit]

(Female Wood Elf) This elf is a member of the druidic Council of Caldora.

SH 1997, March 18: Viviosa introduced the adventurers to Vhana and therefore allowed them entrance within the Great Tree of Caldora.

Yukipine[edit]

(Male Gnome) A Lieutenant under the command of Major Beech, Yukipine is useful in that he acts as a backup medic when called upon by different squads and also has the ability to discern Rifters from non-Rifters when he transforms into his Blessed Regalia, a mask.
