Campaigns & Adventure Arcs of Aleen-gha

Heroes face off against the fire giant king.

The campaigns in Aleen-gha are recorded epic storylines that usually culminate in major historical events. These stories take place in nearly every known continent and in every known epoch. The stories themselves follow different characters on different adventures. Unfortunately, many of these stories never truly saw an ending.

There have been many more games/campaigns played by our groups and sub-groups but they were short-lived and/or didn't have any real data to work with in terms of campaign history, characters, NPCs, etc. However, you can find some tidbits of information here and there throughout the entirety of the Aleen-gha wiki. You might notice perhaps that some of the locales described within this wiki aren't part of any recorded campaign summary or that some maps seem to have no connection to anything else in the wiki -- those would be the ghostly remnants of played campaigns that could perhaps one day see another life. Basically, I save anything that I can for possible further use in the near or distant future. Anyway, enjoy the stories that we actually do have!

Slaadi Invasion[edit]

(DMed by David W.) The first adventure arc played in the world of Aleen-gha. The heroes discovered a secret slaadi invasion of Taurenia and traveled to Limbo to defeat the leader of the invasion, Zgotar the Incorrigible.

Northern Strife[edit]

(DMed by David W.) First played through only a handful of sessions, this unfinished adventure arc involves heroes of Bottenhavet who have only begun to unravel the mysteries of the Order of the Diamond Rose. Years later, the campaign was revived and was played through in a secondary storyline taking place at the same time.

Northern Strife, Part 1[edit]

A small band of heroes escapes from Roanac Prison and starts their quest in search of a shard of the Diamond Rose.

Northern Strife, Part 2[edit]

More adventurers start to track down the other shards of the Diamond Rose as powerful and secretive organizations begin their operations that seem to coalesce into an impending apocalypse.

Heroes & Traitors[edit]

(DMed by David W., Gillfrost, and McStew) This long campaign arc has had two primary adventure arcs fully played out and had only begun its third adventure arc. Unfortunately due to scheduling constraints and new players, the story was scrapped for possible use at a later time.

Swamp of Vutha Valignat[edit]

Evil lurks deep within the swampy lands of Vutha Valignat a group of heroes fights their way to the lair of the black dragon known as Verilis.

Orbs of the Archeron[edit]

The heroes travel to distant lands in search for the legendary Orbs of the Archeron to prevent the summoning of a powerful and evil demi-god.

Illithid Empire of Thithnihl[edit]

On a visit to Boar Herpes Academy, the heroes begin to uncover a sinister plot that plagues peoples of the area.

Hollows[edit]

(DMed by David W.) This campaign began late August 2012 and is set in a culture similar to feudal Japan with a zombie apocalypse backdrop. Or is it the other way around?

Faith is Lost[edit]

During the immediate onset of the Hollow Plague and the disappearance of their gods, a band of survivors struggle against their environment in search of answers and a cure.

A Hollow New World[edit]

Four years after the beginning of the Hollow Plague, the adventurers travel to the Dog Cut Mountains to treat with a ruthless opportunist and killer: a red dragon known as Akaitana the Pundit.

Black as Pitch[edit]

(DMed by David W.) This campaign was started up in March 2014 using the playtest rules of D&D Next. It is set in the unexplored forested regions of Jatua.

Air Islands of Nack[edit]

(DMed by David W.) Begun in August 2014, this campaign is set amongst the clouds in the fantastical realm of Nack, a land without true land but rather a series of air islands. The majority of the peoples of Nack know nothing of the world below the clouds, and airship travel has been all they've known for centuries. The adventurers awakened the long-petrified dragon goddess Locqwerthalyn and defeated the Empire of Nack. This campaign ended in April 2018.

Flight of the ElectroZephyr[edit]

A ragtag band of swashbucklers finds adventure in the open skies aboard their infamous ship, the ElectroZephyr.

Malevolence in Pursuit[edit]

After finding trouble from various sources, the adventurers begin to notice that powerful entities seem to constantly be tailing them and thwarting them at every turn.

Rousing the Dragon[edit]

Now that the adventurers have obtained both the Orb of Dragon Command and the Canary Scrolls, they must use them together to awaken the dragon goddess Locqwerthalyn and restore dragonkind to its former glory.

Blessed United Front Duo Wars[edit]

(DMed by Danice V.) Begun in April 2016, this campaign is set surrounding the magical educational institution known as Boar Herpes Academy as students are assembled to utilize a specialized tactic known as the Blessed United Front Duo to defend against inter-planar invaders.

Weapon of the Gods[edit]

(DMed by Gillfrost) Begun in April 2018, this campaign is set in TH 951 amidst of the Archipelago of the Coipor Alliance in the Millagea Ocean. The Millagea Ocean has never been the same since the Coipor Alliance mysteriously fell into chaos. Piracy has been on the rise, the economy is in disarray, and some would say too many disasters have struck the numerous islands sprinkled throughout the area to be mere coincidence. The adventurers awoke one day chained up in a dungeon that seems not to have seen use for hundreds of years on an otherwise unknown island, apparently the victims of kidnappings by fanatics of the God Eldo. They each had their own agendas and backgrounds before that fateful day but now they seem bound to each other as they search to discover why they were kidnapped and the mysteries of the ever-changing Millagea.

Couatlán[edit]

(DMed by David W.) Starting in May of 2018. The round-ears, the fair-skins have come from beneath the watery horizon in the east on great wooden vessels with death and destruction in their hearts. They have killed the kith and kin of many tribes. Many more have suffered worse, tortured, mutilated, or taken as slaves to serve the fair-skin’s wicked ends. With the help of the divine couatls who have protected the land for millennia, the elders of the disparate and ravaged tribes have formed a tenuous alliance, the Couatlán, to fight back against the encroaching tyranny. Several small bands of mixed tribesmen and women with varied skills and talents have been dispatched into the wilds to strike back against the round-ears and fair-skins with cunning, speed, and patience.

Getting the Band Back Together[edit]

(DMed by David W., Jesse T., M. Vos, Dillon, D. Ventura) Starting in February of 2022. A group of adventurers has gathered in the bustling metropolis of Tradewind Cove, located in a distant archipelago far from any continent. There, they have been hired by Lachlan Smith to reunite a disparate group of legendary bards to once again play a mystical song to keep the World-Dreamer asleep and prevent the total obliteration of the universe. (Current mega-campaign.)
